The first post...

I've toyed with the idea of starting a blog in the past. I even DID start a blog... that I wrote in maybe 9 times in 4 years. I was living in Chicago, unsure of what I wanted to do, in life, in general. My job was the pits and making me very unhappy, so I felt like I was doubting everything. So I dabbled. 

Now, I am living back in Detroit pursuing something outside of my career path that inspires me [photography]. I still work in marketing by day, but in the evenings and weekends, I get to take pictures of friends, family, and friends of friends. 

I want this blog to be a place that I can not only house some of my favorite photos, but also a place that I can talk about my travels and occasionally, my life.

I'm not a particularly strong writer, so I'm hoping that my photos tell the story for me!
